Milwaukee’s Juneteenth Day Celebration 2026 will take place on Friday, June 19, marking one of the largest and longest-running Juneteenth festivals in the United States. The day begins with the beloved Jubilee Parade, stepping off at 9 AM from 14th and Atkinson and making its way down Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to Center Street. The heart of the celebration unfolds at Rose Park, where guests will enjoy a vibrant community festival featuring live music, food vendors, art, educational booths, and dedicated spaces for youth, seniors, and veterans. New in 2026, the celebration will extend into the evening at Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds) starting at 6 PM, with a formal opening ceremony, cultural programming, performances by the Juneteenth Court, and headline music acts across multiple stages. The full-day event honors the legacy of freedom, Black culture, and community connection in one of the city’s most cherished traditions.
